What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Location props and costume report

I have not used any props for the images for my cover page as I wanted the image to be more focused on the model rather than something else in the photo. I took these images in the studio at college so I would have the green screen in the background. This was so that I could change the colour and background in the editing process. My model was wearing old fashioned clothes, hair and makeup in order to fit the theme of my magazine.  My contents page images were also taken in the studio so again I had the freedom to change the background in the editing stages. My model is wearing quite formal, old fashioned clothing which I think some of the male target audience would relate to. The prop that I used for this shoot, was the coat that drapes across his shoulder.- This is to give the photo added detail but I didn’t want the model wearing it as I think it would look to formal and strict for my magazine. In the feature article images, I have taken them in the American Diner on Yarmouth seafront as I think it fits the theme of rockabilly as it shows old fashioned America. My model is again wearing old fashioned clothing, hair and makeup for these photos so that it fits the theme of my magazine therefore, my audience can relate. The prop I have used in these photographs are the tables and chairs in the diner as they fit in with the culture of that America in the 60s and rockabilly.
